in the ground.
Hello, World!
This homestead is one acre right now. One acre of intentional cultivation of herbs, vegetables, and plants chosen for both their nourishment and their healing properties.
It functions as a teaching and demonstration space, as the living foundation of the Pathways to Nourishment program through Healing Pathways Foundation, and as the source material for everything we write, cook, and share.
The vision beyond this acre is a 36-acre therapeutic healing farm, a full retreat and residential learning space rooted in land-based healing practice.
We are building toward that slowly, with the care that anything worth growing deserves.
as healing practice.

Angela named her company Y Grace Enterprises after her mother, Yolanda Grace. Every brand she has built asks the same question the name carries: Why grace? It is not rhetorical. It is the foundation. At Healing Harvest Co. grace is made visible, in the soil that steadies the body, the food that nourishes the spirit, and the land that holds what words alone cannot reach.
The homestead has its own origin story. Angela was working through her own trauma and depression when her grandmother made a quiet suggestion: go back to the garden. What happened there, a sense of grounding, steadiness, and a settling, was the way the body settles when it is tending something alive. That experience led her to the clinical language she would spend years studying. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specializations in trauma, Ayurvedic medicine, integrative medicine, and somatic therapy. She learned the formal terms for what her grandmother already practiced.
Healing Harvest Homestead is the return to that beginning. One acre of land in Alabama, tended by a Black disabled woman who became a clinician because a garden healed her first.
